Requirements
To translate the text in the TeraWallet plugins using WPML, you will have to install the WPML Multilingual CMS package, as well as the String Translation modules required to translate the strings in the plugins.
Configuring WPML
Please refer to the WPML’s getting started guide to learn how to configure WPML. You might also want to refer to WPML’s WooCommerce Multilingual documentation to learn how you can use multiple languages in your WooCommerce store.
Scanning the strings from Aelia plugins for translation
To translate the strings introduced by the TeraWallet plugin, you will have to scan each plugin and register the strings for translation. To do so, you go to WPML > Theme and plugin localization.
Under the Strings in the plugins section, select TeraWallet plugins, then click the Scan selected plugins for strings button.
Translating strings from the TeraWallet plugins
With WPML you can translate the strings from the plugins to the desired language. The term “strings” refers to any piece of text, such as labels, descriptions, contents, titles and so on, which are introduced by a plugin.
To start with the translation, go to WPML > String Translation. You can find all the strings that WPML registered for translation under the text-domain for the selected plugin. In the example below, the text-domain used by the plugin is “woo-wallet”.
If you’re looking for a specific text, you can use the Search field at the top of the page to find it.
To translate the strings, click on the “+” icon in the column under the target language. In the screenshot below, you can find the interface open to translate a string to the Italian language.
After entering the translation, click anywhere outside the popup window to save the translation. WPML will then save the translation.
